Began with my tax return. If all things go through as listed, I'll get a least double of the amount than the years before. Yay!
Parquette flooring is now resting peacefully in my living room incl the insulation. It wasn't as much as I wrote before. Only 24 packs of flooring and 6 rolls of insulating means "only" 30x stairs up and down. Not that easy in my current fat+unfit state.
I'll begin with packing up and tearing down the old floor in the back parts of the main room (where I felt and where my gym stuff is lying around) next weekend. I'll have a week off at the end of February. Hopefull I can begin with laying out the parquette at least in that part until then.
Got the cost estimates for demounting the tile stove and installing a new one.
It's nearly 1500€ (~1800$) for demounting.
And 5200€ (~6200$) for the new fire place.
They sent catalogues to choose the fire place I want.
I will get a Brunello L by Droof in steel black. If you want to have a sneak-peek how it looks: Here It looks pretty modern but I like it.
They will come mid April for demounting the old one.
Don't know when I'll have all the money for the new piece. But with tax return money it'll be sooner than I thought.
