I'll have two days off next week. I plan to start with renewing the floor boards of the west-balcony. I still haven't bought the oil for impregnating the boards.
I am still waiting on my tax-return-money. It's been 7 weeks now since I sent in the papers. Normally it takes just 4-6 weeks to get the money. Last year I waited 3 months as some of their financial software programs didn't work. Don't know what it is this year. I'll call next week, if I haven't heard from them until then.
I still go to my korean lessons. It isn't as easy as I thought, but it really is fun, at least for me. I like it that I understand more and more words of my K-dramas, I still watch frequently.
One of my class mates is quite interesting. He's got a doctoral grade in theology and is doing his doctor in economy right know. That's an interesting mixture. He's got a korean girlfriend, that's why he's learning the language.
I bought all of the albums of Park Hyo Shin on iTunes. I love his voice!
I applied for another job and got rejected. *sigh* I'm too old. At least I think that's the reason I got rejected. They never give any explanations for rejections. It's frustrating.
My friend Stephanie and her husband and 2 year old son will move to Ireland in September. I'm envying her! A lot! I would like to move too. I think my inner gypsy is widely awake again. She said that this wouldn't happen in Ireland or even other countries in Europe to get rejected because of my age. They would value my working-experience.
I still have to work at least 12 years until I would be able to go into retirement. That's quite much, I think. And it is a lot of time and energy I would/could contribute to a company.
I need a win in the lottery! I want to be independant of any company and do whatever I really want to do. e.g. work with wool - or travel around the world - or build an energy-self-sufficient house somewhere, where it is totally, absolutely quiet and beautiful. Or just do all of those three things. I'm dreaming of this on a daily base as I'm pretty desperate.
I mowed the lawn last weekend for the first time this year. I also had to mow the lawn for the man from downstairs. He got really old. He walks very badly. I guess he will move to Munich to an assisted living home for elderly people soon. He already mentioned it 2 years ago or so that he has plans in that direction. Which means that he will sell his apartment. I would wish that I would have money to buy it. Then I would renovate it and rent it to someone I like. Maybe I should speak with my bank?
It's raining since yesterday morning without stopping here in Munich. This will end with rivers overflowing and a lot of road closures of course. Weather services already sent out weather warnings.
