9.3km swim last week (+aqua-jogging, +aqua aerobics). That's not too bad, I think. I began with barely 2k at the begining of January. My goal is to swim around 12-16km per week depending on how often I can make it to the gym. Last week I went 4x. The only thing that's missing so far is speed. I was able to swim 1500m in around 22 min (I was a lot faster, <20min, when I was in my teens), now it takes me 30 min. I'm that slow. If I think about that time in a triathlon, I would end up in the middle or even end field at the finish line, not the 1st quarter as usual. Frustrating.
There's something good to tell. My achilles tendon is getting better, finally! Whoohoo! I nearly had no pain at all for the last 2 weeks. If it was for only that injury I would begin with running again. But no. There's that damn hip...
Apartment-wise, I got another higher bill from the notary with the notary confirmed contract of purchase. Until now I only payed and got nothing but paper. Pretty expensive paper. Around 3500 EUR for like 20 pages and filling out forms for the fiscal- and retirement-authorities.
