I'm thinking a lot about my races I might like to do next year. I think about doing one in Canada. There are 2 long distance races in BC. The Challenge Penticton in early August and the Ironman race in Whistler in late August. I looked up temperatures for those locations and I don't think that Penticton is a good place to race for me as it seems that temps are too high for my taste. Right now it has temps up to 40C (104F). I think that temps will even be higher in early August. That is absolutely not managable for me, especially not running. Whistler would be my choice, if this race will still be there next year. But it's 625 Cdn$ as race fee. That's a lot of money, plus flight and accomodation and the rental car. The Ironman race is taking place in Whistler for the 1st time in 2013. You never know what race directors decide next... Temps might be managable up there. I would like to be back in Canada. I love BC! I'd stay there for vacation before and after the race and I even might be able to maybe meet my coaches in person. If I won't go to Canada, I might stick to the race in the UK or maybe even do that Norseman Triathlon again. I still have that race in mind as I never finished it. That is like a nail in my brain, as I want to finish that very badly. But I would need assistance fot that race and I don't know anyone besides PT who would do good in assisting in a race like that.
I'm at work again. It is like I was never away. Everyone said that they are glad that I'm back and that they missed me. I'm glad that I'm not that easy to replace even if it seemes to me that I don't do much, I do enough to be missed.
I was at the gym yesterday for some indoor cycling. It was nice. Surprisingly. There was this good looking, fine built, young man. He was working out right in front of the spinning bikes for the whole time of 90min I was on my bike, so I had a very good view of him while he was doing his thing over there. Nice. Too bad that this kind of view doesn't appear very often.
Today is my 1st appointment with my osteopath after the surgery. I'm looking forward as this will do better than the ones with the physiotherapist. Physio was only 20min/session. Osteopath is 60min/session. A lot better plus he's a lot better and more experienced than the physiotherapists. I like my osteopath a lot. He's a nice man. Last week we went to the movies to watch Fast & Furious 6. We always talk about that he and his wife and little son come and visit me in my little house, but they never came yet.
PT did good in his race. He finished and had a good time.
I read a few books lately about threesomes. 1w+2m. That was a bad idea. Those images are stuck to my brain now like glue. Terrible!
