Training is going very well. I got faster in running. That makes me proud.
Yesterday I was out on the tracks running 2x 2k and 2x 1k.
I ran each one faster than the one before and I ran the last 1k in a personal best. Yay me!
Last Friday I had to do 10x 1k on the tracks. That was a very hard session and my legs hurt pretty awful afterwards. But all the hard work is paying off. I'm really curious on my running results in Graz in 2 weeks.
Next Friday I'll have 3 dinner guests. Three older ladies of our congregation. I think they are looking forward to get some vatiety in their lifes. I'll make something vegetarian, as two of them are vegetarians. Luckily no vegans.
Maybe (cheese)-leek soup as a starter, then roasted sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts, parsnips in orange juice-honey sauce with pecans. Thought that this recipe of Whole Foods sounded good. I guess I'll just do ice cream as a dessert. I don't have much time for preparing before.
Not much to look forward to in the next weeks except some free days plus bridge days.
I still haven't decided when I will take off for my main vacation this year. I still have 19 days left. Thinking about the end of September into beginning of October. Hopefully there will be mild and sunny weather, that I can get into the mountains for some clear days of wonderful hiking. But it's a long time until then. Don't know if I can bare it that long without free days at work.
