So, the cold autumn days arrived last Friday. It got very cold and rainy. I was cold all the time and I already put on the radiator in my appartment. All windows are closed by now. Sometimes I have the feeling that I suffocate of not having fresh air. But it is so cold. Maybe I just feel that cold because I'm getting ill. I don't know. I have headaches for two weeks now. Sometimes with a sore throat.
The BBQ was ok. Not as interesting as I thought. There was this guy with his girlfriend I know from the gym. He's a cute one. I didn't know that he was getting his training schedules from Chris as well. There were like 20 people. I didn't know anyone else besides Chris and this guy of the gym. I had some nice conversations but nothing real which touched my deeper interest. (I guess it's very hard to be touched by anything lately, as I feel so numb and desillusioned and sad) Food was very delicious.
Watching WC on Kona/HI wasn't that interesting. They had a very poor transmission with poor colour mixing (all red things seemed to be deepest purple and blue seemed to be green...) and they only showed some few athletes without any intermediate data. Not very professional. They could learn a lot of Tour de France or other race transmissions.
I left there around midnight in the middle of the race. I drove there by S-Bahn and missed one so I had to wait another 40 minutes in the very cold rain.
I slept in on Saturday and Sunday. That is a really rare case that I am able to sleep in on both days of the weekend. Mostly I have to get out to some appointments.
On Saturday, I got a new book which I nearly read completely. It's of a tibetian monk. The title is "The third eye" by Lobsang Rampa. Very interesting about his apprenticeship in tibetian monasteries and his time in chinese prison camps and England. It contains quite simple explanations of the spiritual things he learned and the tibetian culture, religion and politics even if it was written in the middle of the 70ies. I like the book very much.
I might meet PT in the early evening. But if it will rain on through the afternoon into the evening I guess he'll cancel our appointment, or I will do as I don't feel like walking through the cold rain at all.
He called a few minutes ago and asked if we could go to meet some brasilian brothers, who are on a visit through Germany. I said that I won't come with him, so we postponed our appointment to Wednesday.
Maybe I'll go running later in the evening.
