Last week was a heavy week training related. Since last Wednesday it is above 85F here in Munich which is very hard for running for me. My heart frequencies are in very high heights with that heat. Very strenous!
But it's nice as children are in their summer vacations and streets are pretty empty in the mornings when I cycle to work.
Yesterday I ran my 15k in the early morning hours. Then cycled to the Starnberger See for some sun bathing and I even went in to get my feet cold. Didn't felt a bit to go fully into it. It wasn't too cold or anything. Just don't wanted to get wet all over. It seemed that the whole city of Munich went out to the Starnberger See yesterday. There was traffic jam the whole way from Munich out to Starnberg on appr. 25km on the Autobahn. Good that I cycled, so I could drive past all those crouds to areas where not so many people went. People are lazy, they just go to places easily accessable by car.
My run in the evening was horrible. It doesn't cooled down a bit as clouds covered the sky and the heat had no chance to escape. My upper back of legs where hurting a lot, so I nearly wasn't able to run further on. Maybe it was a lack of electrolytes of too much sweating the whole day. It still hurts this morning. I hope the the pain will be gone until Thursday for my next run. Today is gym with core workout and swimming, tomorrow cycling.
