Orthopedic specialist said confirmed with ultrasonic examination that it is a rupture of a calfmuscle. Running is prohibited for the next weeks. Cycling allowed if it doesn't hurt. Can't swim, as I have a bandage around my calf at least until Friday.
On Friday I will have an MRI and afterwards another appointment at the orthopedic specialist. I really hope that it isn't as bad and that it will heal fast, so that I will be able to start at the Norseman in 3 weeks.
The doctor wasn't positive about my start. He said that he wouldn't recommend it at all but will treat me like a pro to heal it as fast as possible. That means a lot of extra costs for me as the health insurance won't pay for extras or unconventionally procedures. Already spent 100 Euro for medicinal products at the pharmacy yesterday. More costs are coming with magnetic field therapy and for my osteopath and more medicinal products and I will need a lot of time to get to all my appointments with the doctors and the osteopath. I hate a schedule with no extra time for nothing. Appointments each day, how I hate that. Is a start at Norseman worth that?
