Yesterday was a packed day. Up at 4.30am. Wanted to go to the pool for a short swim training and it was closed. So then I went to work, right after work swim training, then post office to get a package which was stored there for me, off to the doctor to give more blood for more tests, off for grocery shopping, off for congregation, off for running. I was home and ready with everything around 11pm. That was a long day... Today is similar. Most days are packed lately. There's so much to do and so little time.
Only 2 and a 1/2 weeks until the most important race of the year for me. The middle distance 70.3. in Wiesbaden. It's the European championsship as well. It's a hard race as there are 1500 meters (nearly 5000 ft) to climb on the bikecourse. I'm a bit afraid and if it's too hot, I'll die on the running course. *sigh* Running is taking place around noon, the hottest time of the day. I pray for moderate temperatures on the race day!
